I've been involved in design in one way or another for more than a decade. Over that time I've been fortunate to work with and learn from great people on many projects across a number of organizations.

Fuzzy Math

Lead client projects from kickoffs through final delivery, including UX research and strategy, interaction design, and project management and coordination with clients and internal team members. Outside of client projects, manage operations and help grow the organization through internal projects and culture initiatives.
While at Fuzzy Math I've worked with great clients in many industries on projects including design and product strategy, responsive websites, native applications, and have helped companies introduce and/or expand design practice within their organization. GE Healthcare, Fieldglass, Roger Ebert/Ebert Digital, SRAM, Chicago Architecture Foundation, and TaxACT are just a few of the companies I've had the pleasure of collaborating with.

June 2008 – July 2009

Worked with School of Medicine staff, as well as external client organizations, to design and develop applications for use by doctors, patients, and school staff.

Columbia Missourian

Web Developer

August 2006 – June 2007

Worked with a small team of developers and journalists to design and build a new website for Vox Magazine. Contributed to a custom CMS built on the Django framework. Worked with Vox staff in identifying feature needs and training writers and editors on the publishing system.

Chicago Architecture Foundation

DiscoverDesign

Worked with the Chicago Architecture Foundation to conduct research with students and educators, resulting in strategic recommendations for growing the DiscoverDesign education platform. Work completed as a pro bono project at Fuzzy Math.

Master's capstone

Researched, designed, and developed a prototype web application from requirements gathering to usability testing. Key components of the design were later patented and utilized in production applications.
